I had a customer break the horn lever on a 500 that I have as a demo. the funny thing is it broke internally , a little glue , and all was well , I beleive he twisted it .

it is a complete unit with the turn signal module and the horn control. they are wired different if you unit came without the turn signal package. nothing saying it couldn't be done. obviously to use the horn you would have to buy them

You would be better off purchasing a aftermarket turn signal kit. They cost around $150.
The steering column is also different on the machines with the turn signals.

I had this problem with the first one I got. It was broken right from the start. Since Massimo's all come with turn signals, they have a car-style column. I noticed the same thing, a tiny little plastic piece was broke off. What I ended up doing with that unit is removing the lever and horns and selling it with out horns. It is a cheap set up, and they really need to make that lever aluminum so it doesnt break.
