Talking odes dominator 800 brakes? week?

has anyone added power brake unit to the dominator 800? what is the best unit and what size diaphram. will the engine vac run the unit or is a vac pump required? Any feedback most welcome.

If you hook up a diaphragm to the engine the loss of vacuum on this size engine would either kill it or a LARGE loss of power even when you are not braking. I do not know of any small vacuum pumps that would run off the electrics of the 800 or of a pto set up. Why do you need it ?. ALL of the utv's including the odes that I have driven stop fine, If yours doesn't maybe you need to check your brake system

Cool idea I never heard of anybody adding a booster. I would think it would have plenty of vacuum to run it. It's not an open system ice it has a vacuum on it it just holds. I have heard on deceleration the hisun 800 will collapse its intake tube so I would think that's plenty.

matt, did you run a vacuum/boost gauge? our 700 will bounce all over but anywhere from 10-20

Yeah it stays about 25 I think. I bet yours bounces because of being a single cylinder vs twin. One intake stroke vs two.
