2009 Panterra (Hisun) 700 common problems??

Hey what were the big issues with these 700's? Did they improve as time went on? Just want to get an idea if they were all out junk or not to bad. I drove one once and immediately thought they felt way more torqier on the low end than the 800 twins.

Found one cheap but it needs a few things.

I have a 2010, 700 and have had a few problems, Oil leak at the middle shaft got it fixed after the third time with the help of one of the members, cooling fan motor, starter solenoid, wet clutch, but one of the main problems these things have is wiring the wiring is something like 20 gauge wire gets hot and melts together had this happen at the ignition switch and the wires from the stator and regulator, but over all if you handy and can work on them they are not bad machines, in reality they may have a few more issues than the name brand models, but fairly happy with mine.

cool ya I've since bought this machine and it's a 2008 Motobishi 700 Wolf SS... Lol my god what a name...,
Anyway I am just about to start going through this "weapon of mass construction".

I LOVE how easy it is to work on. I want to upgrade this thing in every way shape or form but just hope that it doesn't start to break parts randomly for no reason. I'll upgrade the clutch parts, wiring, shocks etc and will use genuine Yamaha parts where I can. It seems to be almost an exact copy but I need to find out the differnces. Can't believe we don't have a sticky on this already?
